Access Group Australia: Proudly supporting the local community

Access Group Australia is proud to have been recognised as playing a part in the ‘Stronger Together’ Capital Campaign, helping raise much-needed funds for the new state-of-the-art Ronald McDonald House Perth. The well-known charity provides families with seriously ill children a comfortable home to stay in while treatment is taking place, and helps play a crucial part in easing families’ stress.

As a privately-owned Western Australian company, Access Group feels a direct need to support those that operate in the local community alongside them. Possessing a strong sense of philanthropy, the company pledged $100,000 to the worthwhile cause and is very pleased to have been part of the initiative. “Giving back to the local community forms part of our company ethos. Ronald McDonald House Perth and the charity’s values of family and lending a helping hand align with our own principles, and I am extremely proud of Access Group’s involvement with this wonderful project,” said John Jones, Executive Chairman and Managing Director.

Generous businesses in Western Australia also dug deep, achieving the target of $27 million to make the project a reality. Officially opened by Premier Colin Barnett on December 4 2015, Ronald McDonald House Perth has already proven to be an essential service to many Western Australian families, with many nights nearing capacity. Access Group wishes Ronald McDonald House Perth all the best as they continue to provide a comforting Home Away from Home for regional Western Australian families.
